Short-Term Running Goals: Get back into shape
Sub 19 5k by mid August Long-Term Running Goals: Continue to love the sport
Run a marathon (or many) Personal: When I was young, I ran local fun runs with my family, but nothing more. I watched my dad, mom, and 2 older brothers begin running and decided to try it out. During the spring of 6th grade, I ran 3 miles a couple times a week with my dad and have loved running ever since. I ran local 5ks and even a half marathon. In 7th grade I watched Conner, my older brother, run cross country and decided that I wanted to try it.
High School: Really enjoyed it all so much, grateful for all of the friendships I made while doing it. There were ups and downs, but it was a wonderful experience!
I enjoy running, playing piano, painting, skiing, and hiking. Life is totally worth living. Running my favorite meditation. I ran for Sky View High School. I served a mission in the Adriatic North Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Not yet sure what my plans are with running these next few month, but I am looking forward to an exciting future! Favorite Blogs: |

| I had a really tight schedule, so I went a fast 3 to get some miles in. When I left, I checked the temperature which was 27 degrees. I felt really motivated to go fast because of the temperature, even though it was all snowy. It was one of my fastest runs all winter season in the snow. | Add Comment |

Mentally, I didn't want to go, but I did anyways. It was supposedly 27 degrees outside, but the sun was going down, so I think it was lower. My first mile was fast, but I kept slipping on all the ice and snow. Gladly, I didn't fall, but I slowed down so I wouldn't. | Add Comment |

| 4 very slow miles. The entire time my feet were slipping from under me out in the slippery snow and slush. I wasn't feeling the greatest. I can't wait for summer weather! | Add Comment |

| Just did three. My first mile was a bit faster, but it was pretty wet and my shoes were soaked from the puddles. | Add Comment |

It was 37 degrees outside when I got home from school, so I got ready to run as fast as I could. I was very excited because it was SUPER nice outside and I could never miss a day like this. I had a blast during my run. It was really wet because all the snow and slush was melting so the roads were puddles everywhere. I was soaked most of the run, but I was so happy and so excited to run, I didn't care. I kind of wish I went further because it was a perfect day outside. | Add Comment |

| I really hoped it would be as nice as yesterday, but it was in the high twenties when I went. I ran with my dad who got me to go further. We had a lot of fun and the roads were pretty nice. It wasn't that cold outside as we ran and I started to get too hot. It was a lot of fun and afterwards we did a mile cool down that was slow, but fun. | Add Comment |
