Personal:

When I was young, I ran local fun runs with my family, but nothing more. I watched my dad, mom, and 2 older brothers begin running and decided to try it out. During the spring of 6th grade, I ran 3 miles a couple times a week with my dad and have loved running ever since. I ran local 5ks and even a half marathon. In 7th grade I watched Conner, my older brother, run cross country and decided that I wanted to try it.

High School: Really enjoyed it all so much, grateful for all of the friendships I made while doing it. There were ups and downs, but it was a wonderful experience!

I enjoy running, playing piano, painting, skiing, and hiking. Life is totally worth living. Running my favorite meditation. I ran for Sky View High School. I served a mission in the Adriatic North Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Not yet sure what my plans are with running these next few month, but I am looking forward to an exciting future!

It was so warm I wore a short sleeve shirt which was one of the best things ever! I ran a tempo. I ran 3 then took a 2 and a half minute break. After that I went a mile and a half, then took a minute break. I next did half a mile, then cooled down a mile.  My splits were 1) 6:23, 2) 6:47, 3) 7:02, 2.5 minute break,, 4) 6:36, 4.5) 3:31, minute break, 5) 3:08

I went to sky view and it was so warm we were able to run on the track! We did a fast workout, but I haven't done any sprinting since before Foot Locker. We warmed up 800. Then we did an 800 at ipace which ended up being too fast (2:55). Then we recovered for a minute and a half. After that, we did 2x400 at ipace wirh a minute recovery (1:26 and 1:27). Next, we did 4x200 at rpace (39, 39, 39, 38) with a 200 recovery in between.  Finally we ran 2 slow easy miles.

After back to back workouts I was tired.   I didn't have time to run durimg the day, so I ran whenIit was dark around the block. Each lap never ends. I listened to Phantomof the Opera as I ran. My last mile I brought Ruby with me. My times were around 8:30 pace which is good.

I ran the mile for PE which is 20 laps around the gym,  so I tried tempo amd got 6:54. When I got home I ran 3 tempo and was really tired, so 4 is good. My splits: 1) 6:39, 2) 6:58, 3) 6:59. I really struggled on keeping time, but it was fun. My cool down mile was nine and a half minutes.

I went easy, but Conner went my first mile with me which ended up being a 6:48, so it was almost tempo, but it felt so good.  I was thinking about going long, but I was so tired after five slow miles, I didn't want to move. My times were 2) 7:26, 3) 8:21, 4) 8:16, 5) 9:11

I don't know hiw many were fast or slow, so I split the total in half.  I went on a long 10 with my dad and Conner came along with us for he first three. It was a ton of fun and I felt super good.  My right calf did hurt a little, but I think it was from my last tempo.  We had fun and oir mikes averaged 7:49 ish. I was super exhausted when I got home because I haven't gone that far since New Years.
