Run a marathon (or many) Personal: When I was young, I ran local fun runs with my family, but nothing more. I watched my dad, mom, and 2 older brothers begin running and decided to try it out. During the spring of 6th grade, I ran 3 miles a couple times a week with my dad and have loved running ever since. I ran local 5ks and even a half marathon. In 7th grade I watched Conner, my older brother, run cross country and decided that I wanted to try it.
High School: Really enjoyed it all so much, grateful for all of the friendships I made while doing it. There were ups and downs, but it was a wonderful experience!
I enjoy running, playing piano, painting, skiing, and hiking. Life is totally worth living. Running my favorite meditation. I ran for Sky View High School. I served a mission in the Adriatic North Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Not yet sure what my plans are with running these next few month, but I am looking forward to an exciting future! Favorite Blogs: |

| Track tryouts inside. Lots of core and drills. We did the pace for "distance" and I went until they stopped it which was almost 150. I'll count that as a mile. Then, we ran on the indoor track in between each hurdle drill, so that's around half a mile.

| I ran when I felt like it because the Juniors had the act. Ran to sv, did cedaridge backwards, the ran home. 5 for the out and back, 5 for the loop. It may have been an extra quarter mile just adding two courses, but I didn't have my gps watch. I was pretty sore from yesterday, but still felt good. The total time was around 1:17. There were a lot of hills.

| We had tryouts outside, and we started with a lap warmup. More drills. It was pretty warm until the end. We did the 400, but none of my group did strides or warmed up, so it was a bit of a shock. We had to stay in lane 3 due to snow. I wasn't really into it, but it was a 1:13. I should have ran after.

| 5 on the treadmill in the morning. Watched a movie while I ran.
Last day of tryouts and it was warmer than yesterday. Lap warmup. More workouts. Instead of the 200, we did the 100 this year. It was pretty bad. After, Harmony did a lap around the track with me because we were cold and bored.

| Met at 9 am because there was no school. 2 mile warm up mack-n-back. 6 100m strides. 12x200 all out with a full recovery, or atleast 200m recovery. I don't think I went 100%, but I focused on form. Rachel and Arianna were right in front of me the whole time. My splits were 34, 36, 35, 35, 35, and the last 7 were 36. I still felt really good, but I guess we were dropping so our coach changed it from 20 to 12 repeats. Then, we did 8 100s with a 20m stride into it. I got around 17 each time. Arianna and Rachel were just in front of me each time. We would jog the lap, then start into the next one. It was an okay workout. I feel like I need more tempo, though. Mile cool down around the track.
